A question we often hear from people is "do I have to switch payment processors in order to work with you guys?". The answer to this question is no! At Merchant Advance Capital, our solution has been designed to work with all major processors in Canada. We have heard tales about other merchant cash advance providers where they've required clients to switch processors despite advertising that they do not require it. Now that's just not right!
We don't ask our customers to switch because we are not in the payment processing business - we are in the financing business. Many of our competitors are looking to generate processing revenue in addition to earning a return off of their cash advance product, but we only look for the latter. I think a big part of what separates us from the pack is that our owners did not come from the processing industry - they are business owners and financiers from the get go. As a result they have a bit of a different attitude about it!
